The exciting collection of DC Comic hardback books starts with Batman: Hush Part 1, bringing together some of the greatest super hero and villain adventures of the modern age.

This hardback book collects the first part of the Batman: Hush storyline Volume 1. The story, which in this collection is presented in two volumes, was originally printed in Batman #608-619 (Dec 2002-Nov 2003). Written by Jeph Loeb, it pitted Batman against a mysterious foe who was manipulating hero and villain alike to confound the Dark Knight.

The story starts when Batman is hot on the trail of Killer Croc, trying to piece together the mystery of a $10 million stash – speculatively ransom money for a kidnapped child whom Batman rescued from Catwoman. The clues lead the Dark Knight to Metropolis, where he must face Poison Ivy – and confront Superman.

DC Comics has been entertaining the masses for over 75 years and this hardback book is lavishly illustrated any fan will love.

JLA Act of God Comic Book

JLA: Act of God is a three issue limited series published by DC Comics under the Elseworlds banner in 2000. It is written by Doug Moench and illustrated by Dave Ross. The story is a psychological look at what could happen to many superheroes if their powers were taken away by an unseen natural event, and has them pondering whether it is right for them to have powers in the first place. Their powers gone, their lives irrevocably changed, the once super-powered heroes of Earth struggle to retain their grasps on life, love, and in some cases, even sanity. But while the JLA members confront their personal demons, the villain known as Lex Luthor reigns as strong as ever, and is threatening not only all of "normal" humanity, but the seemingly helpless heroes as well.
