The story, which in this collection is presented in two volumes, was originally printed in Batman #608-619 (Dec 2002-Nov 2003). Written by Jeph Loeb, it pitted Batman against a mysterious foe who was manipulating hero and villain alike to confound the Dark Knight.
The story starts when Batman is hot on the trail of Killer Croc, trying to piece together the mystery of a $10 million stash – speculatively ransom money for a kidnapped child whom Batman rescued from Catwoman. The clues lead the Dark Knight to Metropolis, where he must face Poison Ivy – and confront Superman.
DC Comics has been entertaining the masses for over 75 years and this hardback book is lavishly illustrated any fan will love.
